Cthulhu-Nu-Gug

The name "sheela-na-gig" was most likely derived from the Irish language. The two most common translations are "Sile na gCioch" ("sheela of the breasts") or "Sile-ina-Giob" ("sheela on her hunkers"). In the Encyclopedia of Sacred Sexuality, Rufus Camphausen notes that in Mesopotamia the term "nu-gug" ("the pure and immaculate ones") referred to the sacred temple harlots, and he postulates that the name may somehow have had its origins there.

She's another sister... they seem to be getting more explicit and creepy. The next will likely be a little tamer- and actually have arms!

No, but how many do you want? They'll each be just a little different- an extra smudge, a lighter or darker forehead, things like that. Also, let me know what you think she'd be good printed on- I've been doing them on unlined index cards, so far. I'll send you her sisters, too. Collect the whole set!

i'l hang them all over my walls! i'm so excited. however many you'll give. i'll spread them around to appropriately resonant parties as i meet them. maybe evne draw on the other sides of some of them or something. i dont know. would that be allowed? obviously i'd want pristene ones for myself though.

spacemummy sent me some of his (he's who i thought i was responding to the other day) and he did them on cardstock in different colours and they look amazing.
